The final assessment of a student for promotion shall be decided on the annual record of the student based on 200 per subject, to be distributed as indicated below:

Unit Test                                −          20%

I Term                                      −          80%

II Term                                     −          80%

A student will merit promotion only if he/ she has obtained at least 40 marks in the total of all the three examinations.

Securing 40% marks in the annual examination alone will not entitle a student to merit promotion. No grace marks will be given.
